为了法老的宫廷，多雷画了一座仿照埃及大神庙的殿堂，柱头雕成长着牛耳的女子面孔，就像丹德拉神庙中哈托尔女神的柱头。几乎整幅画面都是建筑。
摩西和亚伦裹着长斗篷，站在明亮的石头地面上，显得又小又暗。他们面前，一条蛇在铺石地上扭动。上方一道刻着埃及浮雕的矮墙后面，法老坐在朝臣中间，他的臣仆从墙边探身往下看。
