刻版師Pannemaker和Doms在這幅插圖的右下角署了名，多雷署在左邊。他是為1866年圖爾版《聖經》畫的，後來與其餘插圖一起在許多國家重印。
這裡沒有房子，也沒有耶弗他——只有寬闊的灰色天空下一座光禿禿的山頂。他的女兒在山脊上赤腳跳舞，雙臂揚起，珠串搖盪，她的同伴們拿著手鼓、鈸、豎琴和一支長號跟在後面。光正好落在她淺色的袍子上。
