这幅插图由H. Pisan刻版，他的名字在右下角，是1866年多雷《圣经》中最著名的插图之一。Pisan用柔和圆润的笔触刻云，用笔直的线条刻墙。
在高高的、阴沉的暴风雨天空中，以利亚乘着马拉的车往上升，举起一只手臂；火焰从车下涌入云中。下面，一堵巨大的墙脚下，以利沙仰面倒在石阶上，斗篷铺开，向上凝望。光全在天上；地上是一片阴影。
