Many healed at evening
Matt 8:16–17 · Mark 1:32–34 · Luke 4:40–41
Matt 8:16–1716When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to Jesus, and He drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.
17This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took on our infirmities and carried our diseases.”
Mark 1:32–3432That evening, after sunset, people brought to Jesus all who were sick and demon-possessed,
33and the whole town gathered at the door.
34And He healed many who were ill with various diseases and drove out many demons. But He would not allow the demons to speak, because they knew who He was.
Luke 4:40–4140At sunset, all who were ill with various diseases were brought to Jesus, and laying His hands on each one, He healed them.
41Demons also came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But He rebuked the demons and would not allow them to speak, because they knew He was the Christ.
