From Abraham to David
Isaac, Jacob, Judah, Boaz and Ruth, Jesse and his sons
The line from Abraham to King David, as Matthew and the book of Ruth list it, with the mothers the text names. Every person and every link is taken from the verse that states it. Where two books count differently, the note says so.
