Venerable Titus the Wonderworker
Commemorated: April 15 (April 2, Old Style)
Life
Titus was a monk of a cenobitic monastery, in the ninth century, and was ordained priest for his humility and obedience. His Life records that he stood firmly against the Iconoclasts, who rejected the veneration of icons, and that tradition credits him with a gift of working wonders.
Retold briefly in our own words from: the Lives of the Saints by St Dimitry of Rostov (1902–1916).
