One of the English paintings of about 1190–1200, perhaps from York, later bound into a picture life of Christ made in East Anglia about 1480–1490.
Jesus sits at the middle of a table under a blue arch, between two travellers in round pilgrim hats who lean towards him. Gold cups and round loaves stand on the white cloth, and their bare feet show beneath it.
