Venerable Martyrs Paul, Theodosius, Nicodemus and Seraphim

Paul (Ivan Moiseev, born 1849), Theodosius (born 1842), Nicodemus (born 1852) and Seraphim (born 1874) were monks of the monastery of St Nicholas at Koryazhma in northern Russia. Paul and Theodosius held the rank of archimandrite. They were killed on 30 September 1918 (17 September in the Old Style), in the first year of Soviet persecution of the Church, and were canonized in 2005 among the New Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Church.
